ReStore Grand Re-Opening Sale

BENTON HARBOR, MI., 13 May 2011--The Harbor Habitat for Humanity ReStore is hosting a Grand Re-Opening on May 21st from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  The ReStore is located at 2302 Plaza Drive in Benton Harbor.

“This is an exciting day for the ReStore,” said Erin Hudson, Executive Director of Harbor Habitat for Humanity.  “If you’ve been to the store before, you’re in for a real treat.  If not, now is definitely the time.  It’s a brand new experience.  The community will be pleased.”

The ReStore is a valuable source of new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials and other household items at prices from 50% to 75% below retail.

Profits from ReStore sales directly support the mission of Harbor Habitat for Humanity--helping to eliminate substandard housing in the Benton Harbor and Benton Charter Township areas. To date, Harbor Habitat construction staff and volunteers have built 104 homes for partner families.

Businesses and the public may donate furniture, appliances and other household materials to be sold at the ReStore. The ReStore provides a pickup service specifically for donations. Call 269.927.0006 for any questions about the ReStore or to schedule a pickup.
