What is a ReStore?

restoreA ReStore is a retail business where donated construction and home/office related items are sold for 50%-75% off normal prices to the general public and small contractors. The ReStore generates enough funding to assist with supporting the administrative costs of Harbor Habitat.

Everyone BENEFITS and WINS from shopping and donating to the Harbor Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore provides tangible benefits to the Benton Harbor community and to donor companies who might otherwise have to dispose of unwanted construction items in nearby landfills. Tax deductible receipts will be given for donated items. REMEMBER...you can support Harbor Habitat not only by donating to the ReStore, but also by shopping with us!

Harbor Habitat’s ReStore is NOW accepting the following: paint, new or used recyclable flooring, doors, windows, carpeting, electrical, plumbing materials, roofing materials, lighting, kitchen and bath fixtures and appliances.

We accept only materials in great or reusable condition. They must be in working order.

We're open Tuesday - Saturday 9am-5pm.

You may drop off donations during operating hours. To arrange pick-ups in advance, please call 269-927-0006. Please do not drop off donations after hours.

STOCK & INVENTORY at the ReStore:

  • FURNITURE - living room, bedroom furniture, and office furniture for $10 and up
  • MAJOR APPLIANCES - in USED but working condition: Prices from $40 and up. Check with us on refrigerators, stoves, and freezer availability. Donate your used appliances to Harbor Habitat For Humanity and help us build houses.
  • CABINETS - kitchen and bathroom
